Holland Accelerates Transit Times between Toronto and the Midwest [01.19.2010]

Holland today announced the availability of its enhanced next-day service reach between Toronto, Canada, and seven markets in the Midwest. Holland also reduced transit times on an additional five lanes in and out of Toronto for enhanced two-day service.

The service improvement gives Holland the largest next-day footprint between Toronto and the Midwest, including new next-day service with Chicago, Joliet and Wheeling, Ill.; Cincinnati; Huntington, W.Va.; and Indianapolis. With its expanded next-day service footprint, Holland also can deliver enhanced two-day service to Joplin, Springfield and Kansas City, Mo.; Memphis, Tenn.; and Worthington, Minn.; shaving a day off transit times to these markets.

Holland is focusing energies on continuous improvement and its next-day expertise. In addition to service improvements, which allow deliveries earlier in the day, Holland recently introduced next-day service between Chicagoland and Springfield, Mo., and from Worthington, Minn., to St. Louis, Mo.
