YRC Worldwide companies earn Logistics Management Quest for Quality Awards [08.24.2011]

Reddaway, Holland, New Penn and YRC Worldwide are the recipients of six awards across five categories in the 2011 Quest for Quality Logistics Management magazine readership survey.

  • Western Regional LTL Category: Reddaway received the Quest for Quality award for the 18th time.
  • Midwest/North Central Regional LTL Category: Holland received its 26th consecutive Quest for Quality award for regional services.
  • Northeast/Mid-Atlantic Regional LTL Category: New Penn received its 17th Quest for Quality award in the past 18 years for regional excellence.
  • Expedited Motor Carriers Category:  Additional recognition was granted to New Penn and Holland for the quality of their expedited services. This was the second time in the past three years that New Penn received this award; the fourth consecutive year for Holland.
  • Third-Party Logistics Category: YRC Worldwide was recognized with a Quest for Quality award for logistics services.

Logistics Management magazine readers determine Quest for Quality awards. This year, 4,575 logistics and supply chain decision makers completed the survey, which rates providers on the attributes of on-time performance, value, customer service, information technology and equipment/operations. Third-party logistics providers are rated on carrier selection/negotiation, order fulfillment, transportation/distribution, inventory management, and logistics information systems.
