Holland Recognized for 2010 Performance Excellence [02.03.2011]

Matco Tools scorecard rates Holland at highest level

Holland announced today that it achieved the highest level of performance excellence (Gold) on the Matco Tools 2010 carrier scorecard. Matco Tools, a subsidiary of the Fortune 500 Danaher Corporation, manufactures and distributes professional automotive equipment, tools and toolboxes.

To determine the scorecard rating, Matco measures 12 different attributes, which they consider important for their transportation providers. Seven rate supplier service levels on such qualities as on-time pickups and deliveries, claims, and ease of doing business.  The remaining five attributes consider supplier capabilities, such as service coverage and special service "extras".

The scorecard performance Matco Tools recognized is consistent with the Holland culture of hard work and continuous improvement. Nine times during 2010, Holland was publicly honored for delivering outstanding service quality:

  • Whirlpool 2009 Supplier of the Year;
  • Chem Treat 2009 LTL Carrier of the Year;
  • TTS LLC 2009 LTL Carrier of the Year;
  • Eastman Chemical 2009 Supplier Excellence Award;
  • Echo Global Logistics 2009 Regional Carrier of the Year award;
  • Hamilton Sundstrand Logistics Council 2009 Carrier of the Year award;
  • CoLinx 2009–2010 Central Southern Carrier of the Year award;
  • and two 2010 Quest for Quality Awards, selected by the readers of Logistics Management magazine.
