Matco Tools scorecard rates Holland at highest level
Holland announced today that it achieved the highest level of performance excellence (Gold) on the Matco Tools 2010 carrier scorecard. Matco Tools, a subsidiary of the Fortune 500 Danaher Corporation, manufactures and distributes professional automotive equipment, tools and toolboxes.
To determine the scorecard rating, Matco measures 12 different attributes, which they consider important for their transportation providers. Seven rate supplier service levels on such qualities as on-time pickups and deliveries, claims, and ease of doing business. The remaining five attributes consider supplier capabilities, such as service coverage and special service "extras".
"We value this affirmation of our service by Matco Tools and the comprehensive analysis they use to rate providers," says Holland President Jeff Rogers."Customers tell us that fast, reliable, transportation solutions are essential for their supply chains and we've responded, delivering on-time, damage-free service and more next-day lanes than any other provider in our footprint."
The scorecard performance Matco Tools recognized is consistent with the Holland culture of hard work and continuous improvement. Nine times during 2010, Holland was publicly honored for delivering outstanding service quality:
